The Green Channel was founded by Canadian filmmaker, Scott Renyard, who noticed that environmental filmmakers are terribly underfunded worldwide. His goal was to create a streaming service that would feature environmental content to help these filmmakers with their crucial and important work. At the same time, the making of this content provides rewarding sustainable jobs that will benefit our communities and businesses by learning how to better interact with the ecosystems around us.
